WORD OF THE DAY:

SPRING: (noun) Move forward by leaps and bounds

We are excited to spring into a week filled with fun!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
-SHAQUILLE O'NEAL
HEALTHY SNACK:

Veggie and Pretzel Scooter

Cut four slices ofcucumbersfor wheels. Take a piece of string cheese and horizontally insert two toothpicks into each end. Slide the cucumber slices on the toothpicks for the wheels. Make a small hole in the top of the string cheese at one end and insert a pretzel stick into it. Use cream cheese to attach a second pretzel stick horizontally for the handlebars.

CAREER OF THE DAY:

Writer:Kids who enjoy reading and writing stories may dream of becoming writers. Not all writers publish novels, however. Some authors write content for magazines, movie scripts, songs, advertisements, or online publications. Many writers work full time, but some are self-employed, so they might work part-time or have very flexible schedules.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

The Breakfast Scramble

If you love puzzles, this challenge is for you! All you need is the front part of a cereal box. Cut the box into 20 equal squares.

How to win: Get your timer ready. You have one minute to put the cereal box back together in the correct pattern!

Monday’s Virtual Field Trip – Boston Children’s Museum

This virtual field trip is pretty close to the real deal. Virtual visitors can “step” through the museum’s three levels and even walk through the queue, but you won’t find any lines here. They have also provided resources to play and learn  at home while you can’t venture out to the museum.
