WORD OF THE DAY:

CHARACTER: (noun) The way a person thinks, feels or behaves.

At the Boys & Girls Club, I learn to have good character and be a responsible citizen.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

-DENZEL WASHINGTON
HEALTHY SNACK:

Apple Race Car Snacks

Cut apples into 1/2-inch slices. Insert toothpicks horizontally into both ends of the apple slice. Slide grapes onto the toothpicks to make wheels.

If you are feeling extra jazzy: use peanut butter, teddy bear cookies, pretzels or whatever you have in the kitchen to add a little more to your race car snack!

CAREER OF THE DAY:

Flight Attendant:A flight attendant’s primary job is keeping airline passengers and crew safe. He or she responds to any emergencies that occur on the aircraft and makes sure everyone follows Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

Sticky Situation

For the challenge, you’ll need some bread, peanut butter and ping pong balls.

How to win: Spread the peanut butter on a slice of bread, place the bread peanut butter side up 10 feet away. Players must bounce the ping pong ball and have one ball land and stick on the slice of bread!
