Comet: (noun) a small bright heavenly body that develops a cloudy tail as it moves in an orbit around the sun

It was predicted that a comet would collide with one of the planets.

HEALTHY SNACK:

Moon Snack

INGREDIENTS 

Serve up these delicious moon snacks to teach about craters and ridges of the lunar surface! Spread peanut butter, cream cheese or jelly onto plain rice cakes. Slice bananas and put a few slices on the rice cakes. SprinkleCheerios® cereal on top of the rice cake. 

CAREER OF THE DAY:

AstronautSomeone who is trained to travel and work in space. They train a long time on Earth before going into space. An example of an astronaut is Neil Armstrong, the man who walked on the moon.

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

BEANS & CHOPSTICK CHALLENGE 

PROPS: bag of dry beans; chopsticks  

DIRECTIONS:   

  1. Pour about 20 beans on table   
  1. Pick up chopsticks   
  1. Try to put beans in a bowl or cup using chopsticks  

 This would be a fun challenge for a family or siblings, you can also time the challenge.
