The Hubble Telescope has taken some amazing photos of the galaxy.

Solar System Snack

The solar system snack can show how each planet orbits the sun in our galaxy, the Milky Way!  

Sun: Mandarin orange slice  

Venus: Celery  

Mercury: Red grape  

Earth: Kiwi  

Mars: Strawberry  

Jupiter: Pepperoni  

Saturn: Cheddar cheese  

Uranus: Slice of string cheese  

Neptune: Ham 

CAREER OF THE DAY:

Aerospace Engineer Salary   

Salary: $61K – 130K per year  

Job Growth (2018 – 2028): 2%   

Aerospace Engineers are the professionals who study this science and design, make, and test different flying systems and equipment. In addition, they create and test prototypes to make sure that they function according to design. 

 

 

 

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:

No Thumbs Challenge

 PROPS: Duct tape; piece of paper; marker/pencil/pen; bag of chips or candy  

 DIRECTIONS:   

  1. Wrap tape around hand and thumb, only show your 4 fingers 
  2. First try to open a bag of chips or candy 
  3. Take a piece of paper and marker and try to write your name or draw a picture. 

This is a great challenge for the family and can also be timed for more exciting fun.
