QUOTE OF THE DAY:

CURRENT EVENT:

No matter what grade you’re in, in High School it’s never too soon to consider your College choices. Check out this video on what simple mistakes you shouldn’t make when applying.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

On May 11, 1934, a massive storm sends millions of tons of topsoil flying from across the parched Great Plains region of the United States as far east as New York, Boston and Atlanta.

The dust storms forced thousands of families from Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas and New Mexico to uproot and migrate California.

IT'S A CELEBRATION:

May 9th is Mother’s Day! But showing your appreciation doesn’t have to just be for one day. It is important to show your mother or female figure in your life appreciation every day for all they do for you; however, let’s at least take advantage of this week to really go all out!
