PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT:

Developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and adapted for use by Clubs and Youth Centers, the Positive Club Climate Resource Guides provide an evidence-based approach to building social-emotional skills in young people. The four resource guides present methods that help youth recognize emotions in themselves and others, while developing strategies to regulate their emotions, work together to build an emotionally supportive environment, handle strong emotions to make better decisions, and respond to conflict. These guides will help to create a positive climate in which both youth and staff feel emotionally safe, supported, and connected to one another.

DAILY CHALLENGE:

When was the last time someone checked on you? When was the last time you checked on someone else? We definitely feel that it’s been a while since we checked on our virtual members and WE MISS YOU!
