Putin Welcomes Gay Athletes

Russian president Vladimir Putin has declared the gay athletes would be welcome at the upcoming Winter Olympics to be held in the Russian city of Sochi. The country had come under criticism for passing several anti-gay laws including one that banned “gay propaganda” and many gay rights groups feared that it would not be a safe place for gay athletes at the Olympics.

IT'S A CELEBRATION:

National First Responders Day is a day set aside to honor and recognize the heroic acts of our firefighters, police, paramedics, etc.

You can celebrate a first responder on today by making them a thank you card and mailing it to your local departments.

DAILY CHALLENGE:

WORKOUT WEDNESDAY!

Here’s a fun way to get moving!

Assign one person to be the tagger while everyone else are the runners. The objective of the game is to make it safely across without getting tagged. But there’s a twist. The tagger will choose how everyone will move. For example, the tagger may tell you to hop on one leg while crossing or skip across. Try it with your friends and family!
