CURRENT EVENT:

This week, Christian from the Dr. Ledyard E. Ross Unit spoke to us about how he think COVID-19 is going to affect Halloween this year. What do you think? Do you agree with him or disagree?

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

October 7, 1959: The Luna 3 spacecraft launched into space and photographed the dark side of the moon for the 1st time. The side of the moon that faces away from the earth had never been seen before these photos emerged. Take a look at the photo above and see how the advanced technology of today has become useful in discovering the vast world around us!

I’m sure you’ve heard of online shopping, Cash App, and Venmo but how much do you know about online banking? Do you know how to transfer money to your savings account or how to apply for a credit card? For today’s activity, check out this link to get the whole scoop on online banking!
