ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

The US Treasury Department was founded on September 2, 1789. The roots from the institution can be traced way back to 1775. It was during a time were leaders were looking for ways to fund the Revolutionary War.

IT'S A CELEBRATION:

World Coconut Day is observed on September 2 to create awareness about the importance of the coconut across the world. World Coconut Day was first celebrated by the Asian and Pacific Coconut Community (APCC) and its member states in 2009. Coconut is a complete food rich in vitamins, calories, and minerals. A coconut carrying 400 g edible meat and around 30-150 ml of water holds all the daily-required essential including minerals, vitamins, and energy of an average-sized individual. There are so many ways you can use coconut here are a few:

BRAIN TEASER:

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, if I write your exact weight on this piece of paper, you have to pay me 50 dollars, but if I cannot, I will pay you 50 dollars. The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agreed thinking no matter what the carny writes he’ll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man 50 dollars. How did the man win the bet?
