We provide educational, recreational and team building activities for youth ages 6 to 18. The Club offers homework assistance where members earn points to receive prizes for completing their homework. This program is called Power Hour. Other programs, such as SMART Moves, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood and Street SMART, help our members learn to deal with everyday pressures of self esteem, peer pressure, abstinence and refraining from drug and alcohol use. We also have a Junior Staff program where teens learn what it is like to have a job. Transportation is provided at no cost to parents by Pitt County Schools.
We partner with East Carolina University and Pitt Community College for recruiting volunteers and work study participants. If you would like further information or would like to volunteer, please contact Emily Mead.
